I have been a mobile DJ since 1982 and have experienced, venues, music, and people of all kinds and I continue to learn all the time.

Most of my business is generated by referrals. I am constantly hired or rehired by people who have seen me at an event.

In any endeavor or field, “experience is the best teacher!” It builds confidence and generates the ability to adapt to a variety of situations and/or provide the customer with various options on how to handle a given need.

Now more than ever, the DJ business is ripe with a lot of people trying to make some “easy money” so a “proven veteran” is extremely valuable, especially at weddings and corporate parties where every detail matters.

It takes lots of experience to become a skilled DJ. Dealing with different types of crowds, different styles of music, and becoming comfortable with leading people to party and have a good time. It takes an energetic personality.

I am known for my energy and participation in getting people to the dance floor. I will get out on the floor and teach line dances and use the wireless microphone to get people to sing along!

I have successfully played for an extensive variety of styles and sizes of weddings from very large and elaborate weddings in some of the fanciest locations in Central Indiana to small intimate weddings in backyards and tents. I have played not only for the receptions but for dozens of actual ceremonies. Accordingly, I can adapt to all sorts of plans, events, situations, environments and expectations.

The wide variety of events that I do also keeps me “fresh”.  I keep up with all new music and dance trends by doing events for all age groups.

Independent observers (caterers and hotel staff) regularly tell me that I am one of the best DJs they have seen and will call me for more events or refer customers to me.  I concentrate on providing a quality entertainment service and I consistently receive outstanding comments from my clients. I specialize in the most demanding environments - events where excellence is expected and the clients expect attention to detail.
